This is the second time we have received an accolade, for a small company like ours this recognition means a lot to us, by winning an award it encourages us to keep working hard to serve our customers even better.  Needless to say, this award has brought a smile to my face.  Particularly as our beloved travel industry has been badly hit by the effects of Covid-19; the challenges the travel industry faces currently is unprecedented.

As some of you are aware, I am the founder of Tambo Travel specialising in tailor-made holidays to Latin America and the Polar Regions. An amazing job which I’ve been doing for well over 20 years.  As a small boutique operation, we offer highly personalised service utilising in-depth, first-hand knowledge gained from years of living and working in Latin America.  From start to finish, your holiday is taken care of by us – we create memorable trips and experiences, tailored to you.

Recently I attended the LATA Expo 2020, it was great to have virtual meetings with our partners (operators, hoteliers & airlines) from Latin America who gave us the latest travel updates from their regions. Although the travel situation (to Latin America) might not look so good currently, the future feels bright, we hope that travel resumes to this area in 2021.
